Eldon has spent the majority of his adult life with this cafe. Before that he was a quiet nerdy unruly punkass kid who graduated high-school early but never got past freshmen year in college. His experience prior to the cafe was almost entirely food service and he's always had a penchant for numbers, so managing and accounting for a restaurant clearly suits him. Eldon is a compulsive music collector but a piss-poor musician. He's very prideful about running one of the few true collectives in Tucson. One of the more easy-going people you'll meet but don't talk to him before coffee.

Erin is as vital a member of the cafe as there has ever been, and it's often hard to tell if Eldon is in charge of things at the cafe or if she actually is. A very skilled cook, baker, and bookkeeper herself, she has likely cooked more of the food which has come out of our kitchen than anyone else. If she looks annoyed it's likely because she has more common sense in her pinky finger than you will ever develop in your whole life.

Dave, along with Eldon, started the current incarnation of this cafe. If not for his endless dreaming and ability to talk to anyone, at anytime, about anything he wants, this cafe wouldn't exist as you know it. Barefoot running and all around exercise enthusiast, Dave aspires to make a living helping othe people get in better shape.

Part time member of Shot in the Dark and part time member of Flam Chen. Magic Card, Yoga, Capoeira, RPG, Videogame, Music, Hi-Tech Gadget, and Activism enthusiast, Barry is many things to many people. But at the cafe, he is just Barry. To most of the community, Barry may be more the face of Shot In The Dark Cafe than anyone else here. If you don't know Barry, you probably don't live in downtown Tucson and you definitely don't come here.

I was born in Indianapolis in 1960 and have lived in Indiana, Texas, Louisiana, Arizona, New Jersey, California, and Arizona (again). I have a lot of formal education and, although it has come in handy from time to time, it was probably not worth the time and resources spent obtaining it. I am divorced and I have a son and a daughter, one of whom also works here. Between my 2 jobs I keep pretty busy. 3days a week at UA querying databases pays the bills, and SITD supplies a connection between action and outcome. Music writing, recording, and producing and general time wasting fills the gaps

Known to some as the perfect specimen, I go about my buisness at the Cafe. My favorite Cafe food is the burrito in it's many forms. I am not a student because I put the Cafe priorities first but I enjoy learning processes and exploring subjects that intrest me. I like to give myself opportunity to flex my mental muscles I like to do things in logical and practical ways. I am a worker by nature and find much value in it. There is no substitute for hard work. Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing. Aside from my many hours at the Cafe, I enjoy biking and building thing's to pass my time. I like the District and frequent there to enjoy a challenging game of billiards with whomever I play. I'm proud to be apart of this Cafe family and look forward to many sucessful years to come.

Born in 1903 to mutants from the third quadrant of the korpoxin nebula, taylor was genetically programmed to inhabit human d.n.a. in a C.I.A. experiment in 1983. After meeting Jesus at an after hours party he decided coffee was in his future. Watching cartoons and playing Tetris are much enjoyed pastimes of this nocturnal Volkswagen enthusiast. No current data is available as to his ambitions, but enslavement of the human race is likely.
